As a mid-level player in the game, you might be wondering what are the best OSRS items for you. For this, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite things to use that will help your character get through all those tough battles! More info on why these items are great and where to find them below.
Ava’s Accumulator
Ava’s accumulator is a reward from Animal Magnetism if you have 50 Ranged or higher upon completion (players with lower than 50 Ranged will instead receive Ava’s attractor). The accumulator can pick up your ranged ammunition after they fire it, and also randomly attracts metal items into the player’s inventory. If their equipment slot is full i.e knives, darts, arrows etc., any attracted item will be dropped at the players feet unless that particular piece of weaponry could be equipped where space was available e.g steel med helm for instance.
Fire Cape
The fire cape is a special melee combatant’s cape that players can get after they complete the TzHaar Fight Cave and defeat TzTok-Jad. It has some of the most powerful defensive attributes in all game, making it one of the best OSRS capes out there!
Barrows Gloves
Barrows gloves are the best of all offensive items for ranged and melee. They provide better stats than any other set of vambraces, except for tormented bracelets which have a higher magic bonus. The only downside is that they require completing Recipe For Disaster to purchase them from the Culinaromancer’s Chest in Lumbridge Castle basement – but it might be worth your while!
Dragon Defender
Although not the strongest shield in Old School RuneScape, The Dragon Defender is still a fairly strong defense item. It offers +3 more defence than an Obsidian Shield and 2 more strength bonus points so it’s perfect for someone that wants to focus on their attack skill while maintaining some defensive buffs from their gear.
Ancient Mace
The ancient mace is a weapon that can be acquired during the Another Slice of H.A.M quest, though it cannot be wielded until after certain points in-game and has stats between those of black and Mithril maces for its level requirement at 15 Attack & 25 Prayer to wield as well as protecting against Bandosian followers in God Wars Dungeon.
